Description: The California Department of Water Resources, Moulton Niguel Water District and Inside the Outdoors invite Orange County educators to join this fast-paced, hybrid workshop looking at drought, climate connections, water use and conservation.
The workshop will include an interdisciplinary exploration of Project WET water-conservation activities that will engage your students in understanding why and how we conserve water – while reinforcing concepts and skills at the heart of Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
Participants in this FREE workshop will also receive an overview of how climate and extreme weather is impacting our water resources, coffee and snacks during our in-person day, a Project WET Guide 2.0 with access to over 110 water activities, an opportunity to receive 0.6 CEU credit – and a $50 stipend after completion of the training!
