The Water Education Foundation offers a variety of programs to
teach students, our future voters and leaders, and young
professionals about water.
Our yearlong Water Leaders program identifies up-and-coming
community leaders from diverse backgrounds and educates them
about water issues.
The Water Education Foundation serves as the California
coordinator for Project WET (Water Education Today), an
international K-12 program designed for formal and non-formal
educators.
We began our Colorado River Project in 1997 focusing on the
iconic Southwestern river. Today, our project includes
educational tours along the river, a basin map, a guide on the
basin’s background and current issues, news stories and a water
leadership program.
