Description: You are invited to join the California Department of Water Resources and Water Replenishment District of Southern California for this fun, fast-paced, hybrid workshop on drought, climate and water conservation.
The workshop will include an interdisciplinary exploration of Project WET water-conservation activities that will engage your students in understanding why and how we conserve water – while reinforcing concepts and skills at the heart of Common Core and Next Generation Science Standards.
Participants in this FREE workshop will also receive:
- An overview of how climate and extreme weather is impacting our water resources;
- A personal copy of Project WET Guide 2.0 with access to over 110 water education activities;
- Breakfast and lunch;
- An opportunity to receive 0.6 CEU credit;
- A $50 stipend after completion of the training;
