Description: The Cabrillo Marine Aquarium in partnership with the USC Sea Grant program, Project WET and the California Coastal Commission invite you to register for a workshop that explores our influence on our local watershed ecosystems and the water flowing through to the coast.
Participants will explore Project WET, CA Coastal Commission activities, and visit the Salinas de San Pedro Saltmarsh to look at current and future impacts on climate on our ecosystems.
This training will highlight opportunities to engage students in citizen science and stewardship projects, as well as activity connections to NGSS and Common Core standards.
Participants in this FREE workshop will receive a Project WET Guide 2.0, including detailed standard correlations for each activity, access to the new Project WET standard pools and an opportunity to receive CEU credit. Lunch and parking is provided for all teachers who pre-register.
