Sponsored By: Alameda County Water District; Reclamation & Water Education Foundation
Description: Alameda County Water District and the California Project WET program invite Tri-City teachers to an interactive workshop about water education activities to engage K-12 students!
This workshop will begin with a introductory meeting on September 17th, followed by a ‘live’ online training on September 26th where you will be able to experience how to engage students in interdisciplinary activities on water conservation in the digital and physical realms.
You’ll also experience a variety of digital learning tools and techniques, learn about Project WET activity connections to Next Generation Science and Common Core Standards and hear how the study of water science and conservation inspired one local high school student to take action!
All attendees will receive a free copy of Project WET Guide 2.0 with access to over 110 water education activities and detailed NGSS correlations upon completion of the workshop, plus an opportunity to register for CEU credit.
