The California Department of Fish and Wildlife will hold its annual Salmon Information Meeting on Feb. 25, 2026, at 1 p.m. in Sacramento and online, sharing the outlook for this year’s ocean salmon fisheries and reviewing last year’s fisheries and spawner returns. The meeting kicks off a two-month public process to shape 2026 sport and commercial salmon seasons, feeding into negotiations and final decisions by the Pacific Fishery Management Council in March and April.
