The California Environmental Protection Agency, the California Natural Resources Agency, and the Strategic Growth Council will host an informational webinar on the Plastic Pollution Mitigation Fund. The PPMF is a component of California’s Plastic Pollution Prevention and Packaging Producer Responsibility Act, through which California will receive $500 million annually over ten years from plastic producers beginning in July 2027. This $5 billion total investment will be dedicated to repairing ecosystems and protecting Californians’ health.
