The Bureau of Reclamation will hold an open house to share information and gather feedback on projects along East Side Road slated to begin in 2025. Reclamation is preparing Environmental Assessments, starting with a fuel-reduction project using targeted grazing and prescribed fire set for public comment later this fall, and has federal funding to replace culverts and rehabilitate burned areas to restore fencing and native grasslands, reduce invasive species and lower future wildfire risk following the 2020 LNU Lightning Complex Fire.
