Las Virgenes Municipal Water District announced it will launch its new Irrigation Retrofit Program for customers on Dec. 1 in collaboration with the Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and WaterWise Consulting, Inc. LVMWD’s new program will offer customers the opportunity for certified irrigation professionals to examine and retrofit their existing irrigation systems to maximize water use efficiency. Customers can schedule a free water efficiency landscape survey through Metropolitan. A consultant will visit a customer’s home to determine if their landscape qualifies for the program. Once the survey is completed and the project is qualified, the customer will be contacted to schedule the Irrigation Retrofit Installation with a member of WaterWise’s licensed staff.
