From U-T San Diego:
“The United States and Mexico plan to collaborate this month on a pilot ‘pulse flow’ of Colorado River water into the river’s delta in Baja California, a move hailed as historic by environmental groups on both sides of the border.
“The release at Morelos Dam near near Algodones is expected to start on March 23, Jack Simes of the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation said Monday. A bi-national ceremony celebrating the delivery is scheduled for the 27th.”
The Water Education Foundation’s Western Water magazine (November/December 2013) was titled “An Era of New Partnerships on the Colorado River.”
