Join our team at the Water Education Foundation as a programs manager and help us carry out tours, workshops and leadership programs across California and the West.
Foundation staff on the Lower Colorado River TourWe have a full-time opening for an
enthusiastic and team-oriented programs manager with a
can-do attitude. A Sacramento-based nonprofit,
the Foundation has been a trusted source of water news and
educational programs for more than 45 years. We are looking for
someone to join our team who enjoys a dynamic work environment,
has a passion for water issues and possesses strong organization
and communication skills, both verbal and written.
This position plays a key role in supporting the Foundation’s popular programs, such as tours of key watersheds and regions – the Sacramento River, the headwaters of the American and Yuba rivers, the lower Colorado River, the Bay-Delta – and events like our Water 101 Workshop and our annual Water Summit that explore the most pressing issues facing the West. The position also helps with our popular water leadership programs and our Project WET program for K-12 educators.
