The California Water Commission will meet Oct. 21 to discuss topics including El Niño preparedness and opportunities to build resilience. Experts from the Center for Western Weather and Water Extremes and California Department of Water Resources (DWR) will provide an overview of the El Niño conditions expected this winter across the State. They will share the forecasting tools, flood and emergency plans, and opportunities to capitalize groundwater water recharge.
