There is no need to wait to show your love for the Water Education Foundation! You can donate early to our Big Day of Giving campaign and help us reach our fundraising goal of $10,000 by May 1.

Big Day of Giving is a 24-hour online fundraising marathon for nonprofits. Donations will benefit our programs and publications across California and the West.

Here are just a few things your donation will help us accomplish in 2025:

• Expand Project WET teacher training workshops to benefit K-12 students throughout California.
• Update our Layperson’s Guide to the Delta, the key hub for water distribution in California. 
• Continue free access to our Western Water news coverage and our daily water newsfeed, Aquafornia.
• Provide scholarships for our tours, events and workshops so everyone can learn about the West’s most critical natural resource.

Calling all Water Leaders!

Did you graduate from our popular Water Leaders program? If so, join your fellow cohort members in a friendly competition by donating to your graduation year’s campaign. The class year that raises the most money by the end of May 1 will receive prizes!

Here’s how to support your cohort:

• Go to our Big Day of Giving donation page.
• Scroll down to “Campaigns supporting this organization” and find your class year.
• Make your donation before 11:59 p.m. on May 1.
• Encourage cohort members, friends and family, and colleagues to support your favorite Water Leaders’ cohort – all are welcome!

Attend our Open House!

We are hosting an open house on May 1, and anyone can stop by our Sacramento office between 3:30 and 6:30 p.m. to enjoy happy hour refreshments, get to know our programs and team and network with Foundation fans from across the water world!

Our open house is part of our Big Day of Giving campaign. No donation is necessary to attend our open house. However, if you love our programs and want to show your appreciation, we encourage you to help us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal by May 1.
