Description: IMPERIAL COUNTY EDUCATORS! Join us for an exciting journey exploring the Colorado watershed – the water lifeline for the Southwestern United States – from the continental crest to the Gulf of California.
Participants in this systems thinking workshop will experience the use of remote sensing tools to help students acquire key 21st century skills and Project WET watershed investigations featuring direct physical investigation of water phenomena, while connecting to concepts and skills at the heart of Next Generation Science and Common Core Standards.
This free workshop includes lunch, your own copy of Project WET 2.0 with access to over 110 Common Core and NGSS correlated activities, co-planning time – and substitute fees for you to attend will be covered!
