Description: SACRAMENTO VALLEY REGION EDUCATORS! Join the Inland Northern Science Project (INSP), California Department of Water Resources, and Project WET for the 4-day California Water Institute for Teachers.
The institute will focus on the natural and human systems that support the State Water Project, including the Feather River Watershed, the Oroville Dam system and the impacts of climate change to this important water source.
Learn about other programs for students, including Salmon in the Classroom, the Feather River Floating Classroom, Forebay Aquatic Center and experience a variety Project WET activities focused on water conservation that emphasize concepts and skills students can apply to their school or home.
A $35.00 refundable deposit will reserve your spot. An opportunity to receive a $250 stipend and 2 Continuing Education Units are available to purchase through the CSUC Center for Regional and Continuing Education upon completion of a curriculum integration project.
