Description: CHICO EDUCATORS - The Chico Creek Nature Center invites you to join us for a Project WET online workshop experience!
Our training will introduce you to water education activities that can bring science and engineering practices, cross-cutting concepts and watershed education alive in your classrooms or education programs, while exploring the connections between our local watersheds and the Pacific Ocean.
Project WET activities are correlated to Next Generation Science Standards (NGSS) and Common Core standards and the training will include mapping NGSS correlations for WET activities to help you move toward NGSS implementation using this creative multidisciplinary curriculum.
Workshop participants will receive their own copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, with access to over 110 water education activities and detailed NGSS correlations, new Project WET standard pools and an opportunity to receive CEU credit.
