Treatment Standards for Stormwater Capture and Use: How Are We Doing?
Public agencies and researchers are working to identify treatment needed to safely use captured stormwater and rainwater. This free webinar explores how agencies are tackling this issue now and reviews current efforts to establish treatment standards tailored to stormwater and rainwater use. The webinar is designed to help identify future research and development priorities addressing stormwater capture treatment standards. This webinar is the second in a series of web-based events associated with the national Water Reuse Action Plan (WRAP) Action Item 2.3.3., which focuses on opportunities and challenges related to urban stormwater capture and use. The webinar will feature stormwater managers and researchers from around the U.S. discussing stormwater capture and use treatment standards policies, development efforts, and future needs. This event is hosted by the National Municipal Stormwater Alliance (NMSA) and co-sponsored by U.S. EPA, the WateReuse Association, ReNUWIt Engineering Research Center, the Water Environment Federation, and the Johnson Foundation at Wingspread.
