2013 Santa Ana River Watershed Conference
The Power of Partnerships
Convened by the Santa Ana Watershed Project Authority (SAWPA) and coordinated by the Water Education Foundation, this conference was held April 11 at the Westin South Coast Plaza in Costa Mesa and featured a range of presentations aimed at encouraging regional players to work together to tackle the industry’s most pressing issues.
The day-long conference delved into the role of energy in water management and highlighted key examples of innovative partnerships among watershed stakeholders – regional water districts, governmental agencies, businesses, communities and residents – that are models for the Santa Ana River watershed.
