Erica Bishop, a graduate of the Foundation’s 2019 Water Leaders class, works as a program manager at the Water Forum where she oversees the organization’s habitat enhancement work along the Lower American River and its science and monitoring efforts.
Previously, she was as a senior planner for GEI Consultants, Inc. where she managed water supply, flood management, restoration and other environmental projects.
Erica has 16 years of experience in water resources, working on projects for clients that include the U.S. Bureau of Reclamation, California Natural Resources Agency, California Department of Water Resources, Water Forum, Sacramento Area Flood Control Agency and many local water districts.
She earned a bachelor’s degree in physical geography from Oklahoma State University in 2003 and a master’s degree in water resources/geography from the University of Wyoming in 2011.
She joined the Water Education Foundation’s Board of Directors in 2020.
