Weekend Wrap-up: Sacramento Delta Flows; Bay Delta Tour
Welcome back! Here’s the weekend wrap-up:
At the top of the scroll: The Sacramento Bee reported “Delta could get saltier if tunnels are built.” Meanwhile, the LA Times reported “California tops list of states with water infrastructure needs.” The Manteca Bulletin also reported, “[the proposed tunnels] could lay waste to $560 million of San Joaquin County’s annual farm production of $2.2 billion.” In other Bay Delta news, a columnist cites concerns about Delta water being used for fracking. In other Sacramento San Joaquin Delta news, the Contra Costa Times features the Delta community of Locke in the story “Days Gone By: The Delta’s Chinese town of Locke reflects a rich past.”
