Rethinking a 100-year-old deal
Sixty years after its creation, Lake Powell faces an uncertain future due to increasing drought and decreased water runoff. Science Moab spoke with Utah State professor Jack Schmidt and Eric Kuhn, former general manager for the Colorado River District, about the policies and politics of Colorado River reservoirs, including the role of Lake Powell and its future in the face of changing climate and politics.
