Special Note: Substitute teacher fees are reimbursed after completion of the workshop for K-12 teachers within the Three Valleys service areas of Claremont, Covina, Diamond Bar, Glendora, Hacienda Heights, La Verne, Pomona, Rowland Heights, San Dimas, Walnut, Azusa, Industry and West Covina teachers.

Description: We invite you to join Three Valleys Municipal Water District and its Member Agencies for FREE professional development experience that will engage you in the interdisciplinary activities of Project WET.
Our education team will guide you through the use of Project WET activities to integrate water concepts, knowledge of Southern California water resources and skills for the efficient use of water that are also tied to Common Core and Next Generation Science standards.
Project WET activities are also an effective tool for integrating student knowledge of water resources through activities built on real-life scenarios, providing strong foundations for STEAM and Service-Learning programs.
Participants will receive Project WET Guide 2.0, a continental breakfast and lunch, a Certificate of Completion, gift bag, instructions on how to access information from the Project Wet portal – and an opportunity to register for Continuing Education Units (CEUs)!
