Description: A Day for Teachers! Bring water topics into your classroom with a FREE workshop from the Water Replenishment District (WRD) and curriculum from Project WET (Water Education for Teachers).
Participants will be actively engaged in exploring how ground water is managed in Southern California through direct experience with WRD experts, while touring a WRD water capture facility and engaging in hands-on lessons to help translate the knowledge you gain to different grade levels back into the classroom!
Learn how Project WET activities align with the Next Generation Science Standards and start developing your lesson plans with collegial input, and leave with your own copy of Project WET Guide 2.0, access to Project WET online resources including their new NGSS & CC Correlations and a professional development certificate of completion.
