Executive Briefing

Held each Spring in Sacramento, the Foundation's annual Executive Briefing features top speakers from stakeholder groups, the Legislature and governmental agencies that play important roles in making policy decisions about water. Representatives from the urban, business, farming, environmental and public interest sectors discuss and debate their viewpoints on current water issues at this day-and-a-half briefing.

The annual briefing also includes a "silent auction" hosted by the Water Leaders Association, the alumni from the Foundation's popular Water Leaders Class. Proceeds from the "sale" of donated items - everything from lunch with top policymakers to paintings to water recreational activities - provides financial support for the William R. Gianelli Water Leaders Program.

The 2011 Executive Briefing will be March 24-25 in Sacramento.
